秩父往還と呼ばれる国道140号から沢沿いの林道をさらに奥に進んだ入川沿いにある渓谷です。さらに上流に遡ると荒川の起点があります。毎年10月下旬から11月の下旬にかけての紅葉シーズンでは奥秩父紅葉まつりの紅葉スポットとしてもパンフレットに掲載されます。ですが、国道を離れると、すぐ未舗装かつ、退避場所の少ない狭い林道となります。林道にはいり10分ほど車を進めると、キャンプ場・渓流釣り場の駐車...
