Sakura Castle Ruins (佐倉城跡)
These castle ruins are located in Sakura City, Chiba Prefecture. Built in 1610, the administrative headquarters of the Sakura Domain was placed here in the Edo period (1603?1868). Currently, already an abandoned castle, the site is maintained as Sakura Castle Ruins Park. Inside the park, besides being able to see the castle tower ruins and large tactical dry moat, you can also enjoy the many seasonal trees.

Chiba Areas

The Boso Peninsula forms the main body of Chiba prefecture, and this is where you'll find its endless warm water beaches and jagged mountains. Further inland, Narita - most famous as the home of Narita Airport - is a secret haven of tradition and history in the form of centuries-old Shinshoji Temple and quaint wooden Edo buildings. Chiba prefecture is also home to both Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea.
