Minato Oasis Nagisanoeki Tateyama (みなとオアシズ'渚の駅'たてやま)
4.0
"Tateyama Beach Station is multipurpose facility located along the Uchibo Nagisa Line Highway. It is adjacent to the Nagisa no Hakubutsukan (Beach Museum), a satellite collection of the Tateyama City Museum, which displays Boso Peninsula fishing implements (designated as Important Tangible Folk Cultural Property) and other exhibits related to the fishing industry on the Boso Peninsula. In addition to Umibe no Hiroba (""Seashore Plaza""), which exhibits living things found in Tateyama, there is an observation deck where visitors can watch the sunset over Tateyama Bay or see Mt. Fuji, as well as well as Tateyama Sunset Pier, the longest such pier in Japan. The commercial building contains a market where visitors can buy seafood and agricultural products directly from those who produced them, as well as a restaurant that serves dishes made with fresh, local ingredients."
Review of Shore Station Tateyama
TripAdvisor Traveler Rating

Chiba Areas

The Boso Peninsula forms the main body of Chiba prefecture, and this is where you’ll find its endless warm water beaches and jagged mountains. Further inland, Narita - most famous as the home of Narita Airport - is a secret haven of tradition and history in the form of centuries-old Shinshoji Temple and quaint wooden Edo buildings. Chiba prefecture is also home to both Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea.
