This lakeside inn has an outdoor bath, a bath encircled by stones, and a private cypress bath. Besides its beautifying effects on the skin, a soak in the dark waters of its sodium - hydrogen carbonate spring helps relieve nerve pain, atopic dermatitis, and other skin conditions. Meals feature freshwater fish like sweetfish and yamame trout, as well as meal sets like their boar meat hot pot made with wild game. You can use the baths for free if you'll be dining there (you still have to pay the bathing tax though). Stopping by just to use the baths is fine as well.

12月の終わり、最強寒波が訪れ、寒くなった体を温めるためドライブがてら立ち寄った。入ると食事か温泉か尋ねられる。昼時であったので、食事もすることにした。オーダーしたところ、温泉に入っている間に食事の用意をしておいてくれるとのこと。温泉につかる。なんと入浴料は食事代＋150円訪問日は男湯が露天風呂であった。脱衣場からいきなり露天風呂となる湯船は広くないが、開放感がものすごい。亀山湖が眼前...

イノシシが手に入らないとのことで旬の鴨鍋に変更。これがまたしょっぱいの、しょっぱいの。あまりのしょっぱさで鴨の味が死んでました。私、辛党なんですがね。で、お湯で倍に薄めてなんとか食べました。繁忙期＆休日の昼にもかかわらず接客自体は100点と思ったのに残念…

休日に紅葉見物がてら食事と日帰り温泉で向かいました。昼食をとると入浴料は無料というのがうれしいです。先に昼食を注文してからの入浴。いい湯ですが、洗い場が3人分しかなく、脱衣場も風呂場も狭いのが残念。客の多いときは時間待ちがありますので、予約して行くか平日がおすすめ。
