目の前は海です。店内も海を感じさせる雰囲気で、まるでメキシコ湾かどこかの漁師だか海賊だかになったような気分になれます。オリジナルカクテルも美味しいです。

南房総の快い晴空の下に、ヘミングウェイの小説を読んだ時の既視感が存在する。このカフェは、海のすぐ近くに位置し、ヘミングウェイの写真や上質な調度品を飾っており、ある時代の空気と潮の香を密閉している。趣味を底抜けに楽しんだ人だけが持つ雰囲気をこのお店に感じた。宿泊していた宿のオーナーに勧められて、このサンドカフェに来たが、自分の嗜好にどんぴしゃりだった。注文した「さざえカレー」はコクがあってまろやか...
