Yumori Tanakaya

This hot spring bathhouse and inn is located in Nasushiobara City, Tochigi Prefecture. Fed by a free-flowing hot spring from the Nikko National Park the spring water is characterized by its transparency and lack of flavor. The spring water is said to help with cuts, burns, and chronic skin diseases. Along with a glass walled viewing bath and an outdoor bath down some 300 steps into the valley there are three different valley baths that can only be used by guests of the inn. Day-trip baths are available as well.
