Nikko Toshogu Shrine (Drum Tower and Bell Tower)

Bell and taiko drum towers in Nikko City, Tochigi Prefecture. Originally used to tell the time for Nikko Toshogu Shrine, the two watchtower-looking buildings stands stand next to one another just before the Yomeimon gate. While the bell and drum towers may look similar, they are actually minutely different.
