なかなかの細い道を走り鹿沼中心街から17キロほど。昨年の台風の影響か、路肩が崩れていてすれ違う時は気をつけないとです。鹿や熊がでても普通な環境の中ぼつりとある温泉はpH10をこえるつるつるの温泉。サウナがないので、そんな長居はできないが、山の中にあり、遮るものがないから星が綺麗に見えます。静寂もあいまって自分がどこにいるかわからなくなります。500円でこの温泉なら納得です。
無色透明の硫黄泉

古峯神社の奥、トンネルを抜けて秘境感漂う道を10キロくらい進むとあります。無色透明なアルカリ硫黄泉は源泉の温度が低いため掛け流しと加温循環ろ過の併用、つるっとした感覚でとても温まるお湯です。山が迫る露天の景色がとても気持ち良い温泉でした。施設内ではお蕎麦をいただくこともできます。

東京から東北道を使って２時限くらいでしょうか。観光地化してないので道は空いているようです。ただし、少し道幅が狭い所があるのでスピードは控えめに。１０時から営業の日帰り温泉施設。私が行った時には時間前に既に地元の家族連れや年配のご夫婦で４-５組お待ちでした。施設はかなりの山奥にも関わらず清潔感のある近代的な建物。温泉は無色透明。露天もありのんびりできます。無料の休憩室では地物の方々が思い...
