那珂川を少し上流へ行ったところにあります。公営みたいで、館内は広々していて入浴料は５００円。食事処もあります。先ずは温泉に行くと連休にも関わらず空いています。体を洗い露天風呂へ。ぬるい！おそらく冬は入ったら出られません。かなり浸かっても汗が出ないので内湯へ行くと、ここもぬるい。サウナがあったので入ると２人くらいしか入れない狭くてぬるい８０度。高齢者向けの温泉施設のようです。食事処で酎ハイでもと思っ...

前回行ったときは、たくさんのこいのぼりが川の上を・・・、一昨年のことになります。梅雨が明けかかった今は、静寂と那珂川の清流が癒してくれます。浴槽にそそぐ樋にはびっしりと湯成分の結晶が付着しています。澄んで無色透明なので、これほどの成分が含まれていることが不思議なくらいです。とてもアクセスがいい、高原の名湯だと思います。「関東の薬湯」うなづけます。
