This roadside station is located on the side of the Yaita-Nasu Route, Prefectural Route 30. Some of its facilities include Shunsen Yaita, which offers seasonal fresh produce for sale, as well as the restaurant Tsutsuji-tei, which focuses on local production and local consumption. Visitors can also buy local specialties or learn about ecological technology at its Eco Model House. The station is visited by local and tourists alike.

道の駅やいた併設の食事処地元産の素材を多く使っているようですかき揚げがとにかく大きくてビックリそば定食に付くかき揚げ丼にのっているのもボリュームあり自然薯ごはんの定食はあまり他では見かけない(静岡には専門店があるけれど)のでおすすめ品物と値段がとても良心的
田舎蕎麦美味かったです

内川そば単品をいただきました。コシが強めの田舎蕎麦中なか美味しかったです。お昼時に行ったせいか屋内の席は満席で、外のテラスで頂きました。
あんまり農村レストランらしくない

道の駅矢板の中にある手軽なレストラン、道の駅、しかも「農村レストラン」と言うからには、地元の野菜などを使っていると思われますが、メニューや店内の雰囲気からもそれがあまり伝わってこず、普通のレストラン。ソバとかもち豚かつ丼など、料理はおいしいて手ごろではありました。
