This soccer stadium is located a two-minute walk from Kashima Soccer Stadium Station on the Oarai Kashima Line. Built in 1993 as Japan's first fully-fledged dedicated soccer stadium, the facility is used as the home stadium of the J1 League Kashima Antlers. Sprinklers, underground heating, and other methods are used to maintain the condition of the stadium's natural grass field, and, during the 2002 FIFA World Cup, the stadium's characteristics were utilized for world-class play.

サッカーに興味のない妻だけど、私がカシマに行くと知ると必ずハム焼き買ってこいという。ハム焼きの店の前は、大きな試合の時はとても長い行列ができる。売り切れないか心配になるだろうけど、レッズ戦でもACL決勝でも試合後にまだジャンジャン焼いていたので売り切れることはないだろう。並ぶときは、アウェイのユニフォームを着てても大丈夫。ここは非武装地帯なのだ。ハム焼きの前に敵も味方もないのだ。相手サポを見ると...

有名なもつ煮を始めとして、ハム焼、豚焼…グルメの宝庫で、且つお値段も手頃。これらがあるから、あの修行レベルのアクセスに耐えられます。この日はタコライス500円も頂きました。期待を裏切らず、ボリュームあり、美味。やはり鹿スタのスタグルは最高です。

ここのモツ煮は全国的にもとても有名で、確かに美味しいのですが、、アウェイ側だと盛りが少なく、味も少し落ちます。アウェイの洗礼としてはあんまりです。
