This roadside station is located on National Route 462 (Jikkoku Toge Pass Road), on the bank of the clear Kanna River in Kanna Town (previously Manba Town). The souvenir center (direct sales outlet) sells local vegetables, specialty homemade Konjac and Miso, etc. The cafeteria has a menu which includes a handmade soba set meal, and changes according to the seasonal ingredients and wild vegetables available. And there is also a processing experience corner which uses local agricultural produce, as well as exhibits of fish which are local to Manba Town.

Review of Michi-no-Eki Mambanosato
TripAdvisor Traveler Rating

Gunma Areas

Gunma prefecture is synonymous with onsen. Natural hot spring water sources throughout the prefecture have given rise to a series of small onsen towns, each set among luscious mountains. At Kusatsu, Ikaho, and Minakami, traditional indoor and outdoor bathing experiences are served hand in hand with irresistible onsen-themed food, including steam-cooked eggs and custard pudding.
