Roadside Station Yanba Furusato-Kan

This roadside station is located on Hayashi Intersection, between Prefectural Route 375 and the National Route 145 Yanba Bypass, approximately one hour from the Kan’etsu Expressway Ikaho Interchange. Visitors can rest at the natural foot bath here while viewing the spectacular scenery. The Yanba Market has specialties such as freshly picked fruit and vegetables and scarlet runner beans for sale. Visitors can also eat the famous Otsumi Dango Soup and Yanba Dam Curry at the Yanba Cafeteria. The soft cream made with local Asama-kogen milk has a rich fragrance and sweet flavor and is very popular. There are also parking area for exclusive use of visitors spending night in their cars and quick charger for EV.

普通の道の駅

休憩で立ち寄りました。ソフトクリームは、その後立ち寄るグリーン牧場のが美味し過ぎたので、いまいちの評価になります。焼まんじゅうも頂きましたが、まんじゅうっていうか、焼パン的な食感。景色も特筆する程ではありません。水陸両用バスが止まってました。お土産の温泉まんじゅうが、パサパサで美味しくないのが残念だった。
八ッ場ダム近くの道の駅

八ッ場ダムを臨める場所にある道の駅です。駐車場はけっこう広いですが、駐車待ちするほどではありませんがいつも込んでいます。道の駅には地元の農産物が販売されていて、お土産にちょうど良いです。レストランも併設されています。足湯もあります。温度はかなり熱いので、よく温まることができます。
深い山間地の道の駅です！

草津温泉に行く途中の道の駅として休憩がてらに立ち寄ってみました。店内には地産地消の農産物が多く販売されていました。その中から八ッ場餅が美味しそうでしたので一つ買ってみました。こうした場所にも道の駅があり旅行者としては助かります。
