Yonago Castle Ruins
Castle / Ruins of Castle
Kikkawa Hiroie built the four-tiered watchtower in 1591, and then in 1601 Nakamura Kazutada became the region’s governor and completed the castle by constructing the five storied keep. Currently only the stone walls remain. However, visitors can see a spectacular panorama view of Yonago City from the 90-meter high mountain top. It is a famous spot for viewing the cherry blossoms in spring.
