Michi no Eki Road Station

This is a roadside station that offer products such as colorful Chinese items, Tottori sweet delicacies and local specialty goods. The popular snack at the station is the nashi pear soft serve ice cream made with Tottori prefecture specialty, “20 century nashi pears”.

中華庭園「燕趙園」と道を隔てて反対側にある道の駅です。
道路上には歩道橋があり、この歩道橋を含めて中華庭園の建物と一体化している感じがあります。
建物は中華風で目を引きますが、建物内は実質的には燕趙園のお土産屋さんという感じです。
売場に中華的な感じはあまりせず、日本的なレストハウスそのものというギャップがあります。

燕趙園に寄る際にはこちらの道の駅に車を止めます。
通常の道の駅と少々趣の異なる趣向で、差別化していると思います。
レストランもあるのでお昼時には良いのではないでしょうか。

中国風の建物が目を引きました。道の駅は無料で利用できるようです。道を挟んだところにある中国庭園は有料でした。道の駅は中国雑貨などもあるお土産屋さんというかんじでした。
