Ube Shrine宇倍神社

Shrine

This shrine is the first in the country to be used as a design on a monetary note and is said to have been established in 648. On the 21st of April annually, a “Kirin Lion dance” is performed, which is designated as an Important Intangible Folk Cultural Property. Many people visit the shrine for safe delivery, longevity and good luck.

小高い山の上に拝殿がありました。車でかなり上まで行くことができました。9時前に着きましたが、朝のお勤めを見ることができました。社務所は九時からでした。参道の一番上には大きな垂れ幕があり、拝殿も大変立派でした。御朱印をいただくことができました。

因幡国一ノ宮で御祭神は武内宿禰命であり、5円札や1円札に本殿が描かれているお金にかかわり神社として有名。巫女さんが教えてくれました。

結構、石段はキツイめ。車でもあがれますが、観光バスだったので下でバスを降り、石段をあがりました。お手洗いは綺麗でしたよ。
