土産物は広範囲な品揃え

地元の農産物、情報案内、土産物、手芸品・レストランまである道の駅。となりに普通のスーパーがあり、裏にちょっとした子供用の遊具もある。土産物は、当地のローカルなものだけでなく、周南・下松・山口エリアまで広範囲の物産が手に入る。国道や高速道路が交わる交通の要衝にあるとはいえ、田園地帯のど真ん中にあるのだが、来客もそこそこあり、また寄ってみてもいいな、と思った道の駅。

現在工事中であるが、なかなか良い道の駅。ゴールデンウィーク期間中は近くの川で大きな鯉のぼりの泳ぐ姿が見れ、ここで販売されている野菜は安く地元で飼育されているメダカや金魚も売ってます時間を潰すにはとても良い道の駅です。
新鮮な食材、修道院スリッパを土産に

休憩を兼ねて入ったのですが、地元の新鮮な野菜や蜂蜜に加え、近隣の修道院でハンドメイドで作られているスリッパも良さそうなので購入しました。美味しい珈琲やソフトクリームもリーズナブルな値段で楽しめ、大正解でした。
