The flagship location for this small chain of coffee shops is located near the Kencho-ji Temple’s Gate on the Kamakura Kaido. Inside, the shop is filled wood shelves and antiques, creating a calm and relaxing atmosphere. In addition to coffee carefully roasted with high grade bincho charcoal, the café offers a variety of special items, such as a beef stew slow stewed over an entire day at a famous Ginza restaurant and anmitsu (syrup-covered bean jam) with kanten (agar) made from Izu algae.
