厄除け寺です。想像以上に大きなお寺だったので軽く驚きました。どうやら東京都有形指定文化財や国指定重要文化財になっている建築物があるようです。
お経が聞こえてきて、お寺感というか非日常感を感じれました。

日連宗の古い歴史が有る寺。
古典落語にも度々名前があがる。
3のつく日には参道で縁日が開かれる。
毎年10月にはお会式が華やかに繰り広げられる。
