源泉さぎ湯は1736年発見の古湯

臼杵の山奥にあるろくがさこ温泉の元湯。大分駅から車で1時間ほどです。源泉さぎ湯は江戸中期の1736年発見。茶褐色の冷鉱泉で、底にも泥のような温泉成分がたまっています。内湯はあつ湯、ややあつ湯、ぬる湯と3つ。交互浴をしながら、飲泉をします。こちらの飲泉は1日に1升ほどのむとよいとか。立ち寄りは16時から18時で曜日が決まっています。今回宿泊して利用させていただきました。部屋は湯治宿のような感じです...

ここの温泉は年に数回利用していますが、江戸時代から続く湯治場旅館なので宿泊よりは最近は立ち寄りで利用することが多いです。ここの温泉は温泉好きで全国の温泉に入っている私のベスト３に入る素晴らしい泉質です。ここの湯治は珍しく飲泉療法です。湯治する人は午前3時に起床して数時間かけて2~3ℓの温泉を飲み体内の悪い物を排泄するというデトックス、腸内洗浄のような療法です。これで糖尿病、痛風、肝臓病、便秘...
