Good Location; but disappointing facilities, including terrible Wi-Fi network
This is another hotel we stayed at Ikebukuro during this same trip in Japan. We are not very much impressed except that it is located at a good location very close to the JR station.

- On a bustling street in one of the most exciting markets of Tokyo, the b ikebukuro is like no other boutique hotel exprierience. How many hotels have a Salvatore Cuomo Pizza Bar on the second floor open until 2 AM? You can even have pizza delivered directly to your room. But right outside there's a wide range of dining and drinking options, from some of Tokyo's best ramen to soba noodles and sushi, of course. On nearly every street corner you'll see the latest high- end gadgets on display at Japan's giant electronics shops. Inside the b, every guest room features a comfortable bed, a desk and an LCD TV with Video On Demand, a 1000 yen prepaid card buys a full night of movies. Free Wi-Fi Internet (LAN cable, as well) access is available in every guest room and in the lobby. Mornings begin with generous Western-style breakfast buffet served at Salvatore Cuomo, and complimentary self-serve coffee is available 24-7 the lobby. Most importantly the b is only a brief walk form Ikebukuro Station, which links a variety of Japan Rail (JR) and subway lines and features direct Narita Express service to the airport.
