Affordable accommodation
Due to 11th hour booking, it was only a couple of rooms that we could choose.

Big hotel style ryokan
This is a very large resort/hotel/ryokan in one of the oldest resort towns in Japan. The baths themselves were fine, aesthetically there was nothing special about them to my eyes.
