滝尻王子跡の近くにある熊野古道館には、中辺路のルート紹介やビデオ情報、また歴史的な資料なども揃っているので、まず最初に立ち寄るべきポイントでしょう。熊野古道マップをいただき、おすすめのコースを教えてもらいました。

熊野古道 中辺路への出発地点滝尻バス停から目の前の橋を渡り右手の建物。中辺路押印帳や熊野古道の情報を収集出来ます。ここから急な山道が始まりますので、飲み物の補充やトイレは済ましておきましょう。
