Public Baths in Aki
Most of towns in Japan have public baths (called ‘sento’ in Japan). During the post-war period, sento was an important place for people, who didn’t have a bath at home. Sento has an area to wash body and bath tubs, which people soak themselves in. Learn basic manners at sento, then visit it. It is a great social place for adults.
