Meigetsu-in Temple (Kamakura, Kanagawa)
Kamakura in Kanagawa Prefecture is one of the most famous places for hydrangeas in Japan. Among them, Meigetsuin Temple is famous as a "hydrangea temple".
The 2,500 hydrangea plants that fill the precincts of the temple are nicknamed "Meigetsuin Blue". The hydrangeas that bloom on both sides of the stone steps are mainly of the ancient Japanese "Hime Hydrangea" variety, which is characterized by its gentle blue color.

Hase-dera Temple (Kamakura, Kanagawa)
Hasedera Temple in Kamakura City, Kanagawa Prefecture, is a place with a spectacular view of hydrangeas with Yuigahama Beach in the background.

Sagamihara Kita Park (Sagamihara City, Kanagawa)

Satte Gongendo Tsutsumi (Gongendo Prefectural Park) (Satte City, Saitama)
Located in Satte City, Saitama Prefecture, Satte Gongendo Tsutsumi is a famous flower spot in the Management Gongendo Park. Minoyama Park (Chichibu, Saitama)
Minoyama Park is a prefectural nature park located at the summit of Mount Mino, a 581.5-meter-high mountain that straddles Chichibu City and Minano Town in Saitama Prefecture. 41 hectares of the park is filled with about 4,500 hydrangeas, decorating the entire slope of the mountain in blues. Hattori Farm Hydrangea Mansion (Mobara City, Chiba)
Known as Hattori Farm Hydrangea Mansion, this is a unique hydrangea garden not like anything else. The owner of the garden has been steadily planting hydrangeas on his own, and now more than 10,000 hydrangeas of about 250 varieties are in full bloom.
