Famous for cherry blossom flowers exploding over the river every spring, Nakameguro is a small section of a city that is best visited in any season. This contemporary and stylish neighborhood features the best in design, shops, and restaurants. It’s also the location of Japan’s first Starbucks (known affectionately in Japan as “Staba”) Reserve Roastery for an exceptional coffee experience complete with sakura (cherry blossom) views.

The area is easily walkable along the river, with plenty of nearby places to explore. Those looking for a break have a variety of options, from minimalist cafes to hidden whiskey joints or family-friendly sushi restaurants.
