After successful runs in Niigata and Kyoto, the Willer Express Bus dining experience has finally come to the nation’s capital. French cuisine reigns supreme on the menu with different options for lunch and dinner. The bus is designed in a compact layout, with the kitchen on the first floor and the dining on the top floor with a clear rooftop. There are seven tables offered with enough room for a party up to four. In total, the bus seats up to 25 people, creating an intimate and cozy dining experience.

Both lunch and dinner feature French cuisine. The six course meal features appetizers, side dishes, a main course and dessert all freshly prepared in the restaurant downstairs. The dinner menu also has an extra main dish in addition to the lunch menu. The meals are seasonal and health conscious and are not heavy on the stomach.

The meal begins with a variety of chilled appetizers, ranging from French blue cheese to sea urchin. A hot appetizer is then served. The main course for lunch is chicken with a vegetable roast while the dinner main course is upgraded to a surf and turf style Wagyu beef and salmon. Both meals are accompanied with bread, soup and salad and a fresh dessert from Ginza Onodera. Coffee and tea are included, and alcoholic beverages such as beer and wine are also offered.

The dinner ride takes diners on an evening cosmopolitan tour starting in Hibiya at 6PM, past Omotesando and Roppongi Hills, circling around the Tokyo Tower and Rainbow Bridge, and as with the lunch tour, a short stop in Odaiba. The tour ends at 9PM back in Hibiya. Each seat has a window view and the clear rooftop is retractable and is opened when the weather is pleasant. Diners can experience the sights and sounds of the city during their meal.
