Enjoy a hearty breakfast as part of the package at Tomamu The Tower or for an extra fee at RISONARE Tomamu before heading out to explore the plethora of activities going on in and around the resort. Taking to the sky is one of the best ways to appreciate the full splendour of the Hidaka Mountains which can be done by floating up in a hot air balloon. Back on the ground there are walking and children's activities as well as water sports including the likes of rafting and canoeing. With Hokkaido famous for its snow-rich winters, the resort offers a whole host of wintry activities from skiing and snowboarding to its very own Ice Village and Christmas themed events.

If Hoshino didn’t already offer us enough options for appreciating the beauty of Hokkaido, heading up the neighboring Mt. Tomamu brings you the perfectly located UNKAI TERRACE. Hovering just above the clouds with a view over the surrounding mountains, the terrace’s commanding position gives both hotel guests and visitors the chance to see the Hikada Mountains in all their glory. While the most celestial views are sure to be seen at sunrise and sunset, early morning promises one of the most peaceful experiences.
