The restaurant’s buffet style dinner features an array of dishes utilizing freshly sourced local produce. If you want to learn a few kitchen tips and tricks guests are welcome to watch the chefs prepare their dishes on the spot. Those with a sweet tooth can’t skip on the apple milles feuilles dessert, this is Aomori, apple country so it’s essentially a crime not to enjoy their area’s most beloved fruit. Exploding with fresh, light layers of cream, pastry, and fruits it’s the ideal way to treat yourself. One serve will set you back 1300 yen, but after a day of hiking and exploring you deserve it. To wash down the apple milles feuilles you can order herbal mint tea from the pristine tea set for 680 yen. The best part? All of this can be enjoyed at the Lounge “Forest Myth” while admiring the view of Oirase Gorge and its stunning momiji trees.

For those more adventurous types, there’s a 14-kilometer trail that links the resort to scenic Lake Towada. With waterfalls lining the trek it’s almost impossible not to get swept up in area's mystical beauty. Once you’re done, head back to the resort to soak up breathtaking backdrop while soaking in the hot spring filled with water pumped fresh from Mt. Hakkoda.

There are a number of options for getting to the resort and for those coming by car free parking is available. If you’re travelling via public transport the best way to access the resort is via their free shuttle bus service. The bus leaves from Hachinohe, Aomori, Shin-Aomori stations as well as both the international and domestic airports. Please be aware though that it’s only available via reservation. To reserve a spot on the bus you must book at least three days in advance by calling the hotel Reservation Centre.
