However, the main reason why we like this place, is because of their friendly staff that are very knowledgeable about anything bicycle-related. They are of course also very familiar with any questions you might have related to crossing the Shimanami Kaido.

On the bottom floor of the building, there’s a combined kitchen and information space, where you are welcome to browse their huge collection of magazines and other materials related to bicycles and regional travel. They also have a bicycle storage space located on their premises, with all the tools you might need to maintain your bicycle.

The showers are shared, and if you need to do laundry, there are a pair of coin operated washing machines as well as dryers located in a separate laundry room. Wifi is available throughout the property for free.

It’s also probably a good bet if you are looking for a travel buddy to make the trip with. This place would also be a good starting point if you’re planning to explore Shikoku, as there is also information on noteworthy sightseeing spots on the island, including the Shikoku Henro pilgrimage and the 88 temples this 1,200 kilometer walking course consists of.
