Hozenji Yokocho Alley (法善寺横丁) near Hozenji Temple is a classic, cobblestone lane that’s filled with popular drinking and dining places. Many serve Osaka's iconic foods, such as okonomiyaki and kushikatsu (deep-fried skewers). The alleyway glows enchantingly in the dark with its lanterns and shop signs, making it even more inviting.

Many tourists visit the temple featuring a statue of Fudomyoo, which survived the bombing raids of WW2. It is said that pouring water over this Buddhist statue will bring good fortune and it's covered with thick, green moss from head to toe as a result.
