Ebisu Yokocho

Decorated with brightly colored neon signs and glowing lanterns, Ebisu Yokocho is a small alley that’s packed with tiny restaurants and bars.

It’s one of the most popular areas in Ebisu after dark, with a lively atmosphere as locals come to dine and drink at the end of the working day.

Aside from casual eateries serving local delicacies such as fried chicken, grilled meats and mushroom-based dishes, you can also find sophisticated wine bars and rustic pubs.

If you’re visiting during the day, a few of Ebisu Yokocho’s restaurants may be open but the alley really ignites once the sun goes down.
