Haneda Innovation City aka HICity. Just one stop via the monorail from Haneda Tokyo International Airport Terminal 3, some of the facilities at a major cultural and technological complex finally opened on September 18th 2020 ahead of its grand opening in 2022. The complex will include an innovative clinical research center, labs and offices, a Japanese cultural experience facility, a hydrogen charging station, a music hall named Zepp Haneda, and restaurants and accommodations.

GREEN SPRINGS
Located in Tachikawa, about 30 minutes from the center of Tokyo, a new family and dog friendly shopping complex, Green Springs opened in April 2020. This complex has a multipurpose hall, museum, hotel, office, shops, restaurants and even a park. Visitors to Green Springs can enjoy its PLAY! Museum which includes a permanent exhibition of the works from popular children’s book artists like Eric Carle of “The Very Hungry Caterpillar”-fame. And also, an unusual indoor playground with strange-looking play equipment and toys that are produced by various artists. Both the museum and playground are a great space for families.

Minami-Machida Grandberry Park
Minami-Machida Grandberry Park is a shopping center which opened in November 2019 with 241 stores, including about 100 outlet stores with a Snoopy Museum. Conveniently and directly accessible via Minami-machida Grandberry Park Station on Tokyu Den-en-toshi Line, this shopping center is easily accessible via train or by car as it has plenty of parking areas. Aside from the shopping areas, kayaking in an artificial pond is available.

The former Shoppers Plaza Yokosuka, which has been loved by local residents for many years, has been renovated and opened as a new shopping complex, Coasaka Bayside Stores in June 2020. Essentially a one-stop-shop, the complex is designed to be incredibly convenient for all your shopping needs. In this 6 storied complex, there are more than 100 shops from shopping, entertainment, supermarket, and various dining options. Visitors can enjoy from both inside and around the facility, with gorgeous views of Yokosuka Bay and the beachside.

MITSUI OUTLET PARK YOKOHAMA BAYSIDE
Mitsui Outlet Park Yokohama Bayside has doubled the number of stores to approximately 170 and newly opened in April 2020. Aside from shopping, including the food court overlooking the bay, this shopping mall is kid-friendly with lots of playrooms and outdoor areas for kids to get out their energy. Adjacent to the mall, there is Uniqlo Park, a new shopping complex consisting of retail stores, green space, spacious rooftops, and play areas including slides, jungle gym, and bouldering ideal for kids and adults alike. This is the first time UNIQLO opened this interesting concept store, “A store like a park”.

Tokorozawa Sakura Town
Kadokawa Culture Museum
Tokorozawa Sakura Town, a huge complex in the idyllic town of Higashi Tokorozawa, Saitama will make its grand opening on November 6th 2020. This new spot is like a town, and will have 10 shops and restaurants, an interactive anime hotel, the Kadokawa Shokudo restaurant where you can enjoy local food, and Kadokawa Culture Museum with its distinctive design, as well as plenty of pop cultural contents exhibited.

OH!!!
Oh!!! “Fermentation, Health, Food Magic!!" is a new food theme park opened in October 2020 in Hanno city, Saitama prefecture. The park will have cafe and shops that offer pickles, sweet sake and seasonings as well as local foods and other fermented foods gathered from all over Japan. Since the park is about a 10minutes drive from Moomin Valley Park and Mezza Village, a Scandinavian theme park, visitors are recommended to visit those places as well.

Minaka Odawara
Minaka Odawara
On Friday, December 4, 2020, Minaka Odawara, a new 14-story commercial facility, will open at Odawara Station in Kanagawa Prefecture. Based on the concept of "Mirai no Shukubamachi (the post town of the future)," the facility is characterized by an Edo-esque atmosphere like that of an authentic post town.
There will also be a "Souvenir Street" (tentative name) with over 40 shops, a "Lake Saiko Food Stadium" with popular local gourmet restaurants with a spectacular view of Odawara City, and a footbath with an open view.- Minaka Odawara
