    Entrance Lounge

Just a few minutes walk from Setagaya Daita station on Odakyu Line, a new ryokan inn greets the guests with an out-of-ordinary atmosphere in the middle of Tokyo. Some of the landscape rocks and materials used to build this inn was derived from a 100-year old “Kayabuki Yashiki” (a style of thatched roof house in Japan) that was in the same Setagaya ward as where Yuen Bettei Daita is located. And the building is said to have been designed in the manner of a good old Japanese ryokan inn style, while also integrating modern architectural techniques.

The lighting in the entrance lounge is a bit dim to create a sense of calmness while guests can relax gazing at a beautiful small courtyard.
