Mipig Cafe Harajuku! Inescapable Micro Pig Cuteness!

Micro pigs are tiny pigs that were bred in the UK and have now made their way to Japan. Mipig cafe in Meguro & Harajuku are the only officially managed micro pig cafes where you can meet these bundles of joy. It's a place where you can see just how cute & smart these little creatures really are.

If you're interested in going, you'll need to make a reservation online. Walk ins aren't accepted here!

After entering the micro pig cafe, get some sterilized slippers and then go to the lockers to put away your shoes and valuables. There's also a wash basin for disinfecting hands. You need to be germ free since you'll be interacting with baby micro pigs that have a weak immunity.

Mipig Cafe Interior

Mipig Cafe Harajuku is hidden away on a side street making it near impossible to be found accidentally. Cut off from the bustling city sounds, it's a cute little space with the theme of The Three Little Pigs. There's a living room space where most of the interaction will take place, but there's also three lovely little private rooms.

The private rooms are all decorated accordingly: straw house, wooden house, and brick house. It will cost you a bit extra if you want to reserve a private room.

Whether you're in the living room area or the private rooms, you'll find cute micro pigs roaming all over the place. The prejudice towards pigs is that they are dirty and smelly, but I can say with assurity that this is not the case!

Finding the right spot

Micro pigs are very social beings. Intelligent, loyal and all so cuddly! Even being a complete stranger, I was quickly overun by 4 micro pigs that thought the side of my leg would be a great location for a little nap.

One thing that most people don't know is that they're ranked 3rd as the planet's most intelligent animal. Each with a unique personality, every interaction will surely leave a lasting impression.

Micro Pig Donuts 750 yen (tax excluded)

In commemoration of the opening of the Harajuku store, a special menu is available. The menu includes a special Mipig donuts, roll cake, chiffon cake, tea, juice, and more.

Enjoy your donut because it's time to say your goodbyes to your newly made little friends. Don't forget to mutter the words "That'll do pig, that'll do" before you leave.

Conditions:
Please note that you are not allowed to enter a mipig cafe if any of the following apply to you.

・Being sick or not feeling well (micro pigs can get sick/flu from humans.)
・Having visited China, Africa etc within 2 weeks where hog cholera has been identified.
・Having entered a hog sty within 2 days.

*Hog cholera does not affect humans, however pigs can get the disease via humans.
Children under elementary school age must be accompanied by a guardian.

Price: 30 minutes / 1000 yen (plus one drink order)

Reservations can be made up to 60 days in advance
(Those under 3 years old are free of charge but must still order a drink)
In the case of the private room use 30 minutes / 500 yen (Tax-free)
