Check-in

When you check-in, you’ll get a room card that is printed with a QR code. This code unlocks the lockers and grants you access to the capsule floors of the hotel.

If you booked using the mobile app, then once you check-in the QR code will automatically be saved within the app. Whenever you enter or leave the hotel, you’ll only need to swipe your phone across the sensor; no need to worry about losing your access card.

There’s also a women-only elevator and separate spaces for men and women, so even single travelers can rest easy.

You can store your luggage and valuables in the provided locker, but oversized luggage will need to be stored in the nearby communal locker area. The overnight bag located in your locker holds all the amenities you need for a relaxing stay. You’ll find pajamas, a toothbrush, slippers, a face towel, a bath towel, and an absorbent footpad all tucked neatly away for your personal use.

Capsule Rooms

In order to rid people of the notion that capsule hotels are small and cramped or difficult to sleep in, 9h has developed capsules that take even the smallest detail into consideration. The capsule unit is 1.1 meters tall and wide, with a length of 2.1 meters, making it a little larger than a single bed.

The pillows are custom-made for capsules by the veteran company Kitamura pillow makers, and the mattress is also an original design. They’re neither too hard nor too soft for that perfect sleep.

At the bedside you’ll find USB charging ports, outlets, and lighting control buttons. Of course, soundproofing is taken into special consideration, so close the shade and get some sleep. Earplugs are also available at the front desk.

Sinks and Showers

The communal bathroom has several private shower stalls around rows of spacious sinks, as well as one or two stalls that offer bathtubs. The showers are a collaboration with the Japanese bathroom giant Toto, and they have special “warm pillar” showerheads that stream water down in a soothing column.
