Osaka-no-Aji Honten's Osaka City Walk
These castella (traditional Japanese sweets) have been given a distinctly local twist thanks to the Osaka dialect engravings on their tops. The child-like graffiti reads “Maido”, “Okini”, “Honmaya”, “Sukiyanen” or “Eenen”, with something to inspire the whole family. Infusing the taste of butter and milk, the Glico Bâton d’or is a delicious pretzel that makes for an ideal souvenir. Keishindo Osaka Okonomiyaki Ebiten
Released in April 2019, the Osaka Okonomiyaki Ebiten is a shrimp rice cracker infused with the taste of Osaka’s famous okonomiyaki. It comprises a dough with plenty of shrimp that’s combined with blue seaweed and red ginger before being deep-fried. It’s only available at the Gift Kiosk Shin-Osaka, which is locat-ed on the station concourse inside the Shinkansen ticket gate (opposite the Shinkansen South ticket gate) and costs 1,080 yen for a 10 pack.

COBATO Speculoos
Cobato is a bakery in Tenmabashi that specializes in coppe bread, which appeals to both young and old alike. But they also create Speculoos, charming chef-shaped cookies with a traveler theme. They come in a novelty tin that depicts their famous bread being carried by three chefs and can be kept after the cookies have been eaten.
