Access Guide : How to get to Tokyo Disneyland

To lessen the the confusion, just remember that the hotels of Tokyo Disney Resort encompass Tokyo Disneyland (TDL). So when we mention that the destination is TDL, we are also talking about Tokyo Disney Resort being the destination.

You have a choice of going to TDL by train or limousine bus. Choose which route best suits you based on price, time, and size of luggage.

Narita Airport

Narita Airport-Tokyo Station-TDL

- Train
From Narita Airport, you will need to change trains to the nearest TDL station “Maihama Station”.
For those who don't want to make any transfers, skip down to the "Limousine bus" section.

There are several routes on the train, but here is our recommended route (one transfer needed):
From Narita Airport, take the JR Limited Express Narita Express and transfer at Tokyo Station and head to Maihama Station.

Time required: 1 hour 30 minutes
Fare: 2900 yen

・ There are 2 stations at Narita Airport (Narita Airport Station / Airport Terminal 2 Station). Either station can be used, so use the nearest station from your position.
・ If you have a Japan Rail Pass, you can use all of these routes for free. The Narita Express is a reserved seat, so you'll most assuredly be able to procure a seat.

- Limousine bus
Go straight to TDL by Limousine bus if you have lots of luggage. You can get a ticket on the first floor ticket center located at each terminal.

Time required: Approximately one hour
Fare: 1800 yen

From Haneda Airport, you also have the choice of going to TDL by train or limousine bus. Again, choose the route that best suits you based on price, time, and size of luggage.

Haneda airport

Haneda Airport 〜 Hamamatsucho Station 〜 Tokyo Station 〜 TDL

- Train
If you're catching a train from Haneda airport and heading to Maihama station, transferring trains is a must. Skip to the Limousine bus section if you want to avoid transfers.

There are several routes on the train, but here is our recommendation (2 transfers required):
From Haneda Airport, take the Tokyo Monorail and head to Hamamatsucho Station. Transfer here and go to Tokyo Station, where you'll have to transfer one last time to make your way to Maihama Station.

Time required: Approximately 50 minutes
Fare: 810 yen

・ If you have a Japan Rail Pass, this route is free (including the monorail).

- Limousine bus
Go straight to TDL using the Limousine bus. Recommended for those who have a lot of luggage.

Time required: Approximately 45 minutes
Fare: 850 yen

And last but not least, how to get to TDL from Tokyo station. Choices are trains or limousine buses. Both modes of transport travel to TDL directly so choose which suits you best.

Tokyo Station

Tokyo Station 〜 TDL

- Train
From Tokyo Station take the JR Keiyo Line or Masashino Line to go to Maihama Station.

Time required: Approximately 15 minutes
Fare: 220 yen

- Limousine bus
Go straight to TDL by Limousine bus. You can catch the bus at the Yaesu south exit of Tokyo station. Just be careful that number of buses for this option are limited.

Time required: Approximately 35 minutes
Fare: 730 yen

Go out of the south exit of Maihama Station to your right-hand side and you will notice that your fun is about to begin. With just a little walk from the exit, you will arrive at Tokyo Disneyland!

After getting off at Maihama Station, get on the Disney Resort Line and head to Tokyo DisneySea.

This cute monorail goes around the Disney Resort, so using this monorail to get to Tokyo DisneySea is very convenient.

Time required: Approximately 10 minutes
Fare: 260 yen

You can walk to Toyko DisneySea from Maihama Station if you want a change of scenery. Just a 15 minute walk.
