    A ski resort in Maekuro Yumoto-Shiobara Nasu-Shiobara City. The ski resort offers a three kilometer downhill trail a Snow Park equipped with a half pipe and kicker The Kids Park with plenty to do such as the sledding slope and the Family Park where families can have fun together. As well as ski and snowboard lessons the resort provides plenty of facilities including six restaurants and shops.
  • Kusatsu Onsen Ski Resort

    This ski resort is situated along National Route 292 in Kusatsu Town. The resort's 8,000-meter-long slope is outfitted with nine courses and experiences a 926 meter difference in elevation. In addition, resort visitors can strap on a pair of snowshoes and trek amidst forest or make their way to the crater lake at Mt. Shirane. The resort also has a kids park and offers a daycare service.

    White World Oze Iwakura located in Katashina Village Tone County Gunma Prefecture is one of the largest ski resorts in the region. Well known for its quality of snow the resort’s 16 courses include both gentle slopes for families as well as expert courses. The ski school for kids is also popular for young beginners. The Iwakura Resort Hotel located onsite is available to use the hot springs even without booking a stay.

It offers a lot to kids coming to the slopes for their first time with a shallow slope for first-time skiiers “tamba land” for playing in the snow and a ski & snowboard school.
  • Marunuma Kogen Ski Resort

    This ski resort is on Mt. Nikko-Shirane in Katashina Village Tone County Gunma Prefecture. Its early opening date has made it well known in the Kanto region as the first place to ski each year. At four kilometers it’s longest slope utilizes the natural topography of the landscape. The kids park and a beginner area make it great for families and those new to skiing. From the summit you can enjoy magnificent views of the surrounding mountains.

    Edelweiss Ski Resort has 12 courses and five lifts for the enjoyment of everyone from beginners to advanced level skiers. They also have a full-fledged school teaching skiing and snowboarding; you can even take the Japan Snowboard Association Instructor Exam there. They also have a kids park and a free dog run with natural non-compact snow.

    This ski resort is located in Minakami Town, Tone County, Gunma Prefecture; roads which melt any snow that falls on them provide convenient access to the resort from the Minakami Interchange. The resort's massive 4,000-meter-long slope experiences a 600 meter difference in elevation and is outfitted with 10 courses appropriate to skiers of all levels, from beginner to advanced. On Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, the resort is open until 11 p.m. and it also opens up at 6 a.m. on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. The resort's full array of facilities includes the Gate House and Rest House lodges, and the popular ski and snowboarding destination is the leading snow resort in the Minakami area.

    This ski resort is located on Mt. Takate in Kawaba Village Tone County Gunma Prefecture. It’s known for the quality and quantity of its powder snow. Many of the courses run through the woods. There are ten slopes available ranging from gentle courses for beginners to advanced courses. Its ample restaurants and shops are also a draw.
  • Mt. Jeans Nasu

    Mt. Jeans Nasu has numerous slopes for intermediate level skiers. It’s divided into various zones including its Snow Play Area and the Snowshoe Area around the Gondola Summit, the Beginners Slope that as a whole is called Beginners Park, and the Kids Park near the Base Lodge. For advanced level skiers, the Wild Wood Road runs through a wooded area with beech trees and features a steep run with moguls part way down.
