The sundries shops, Nangoku Zakka Tida, sells a variety of original merchandise only available on Miyako Island including an original design of Miyakojima Beach t-shirts as well as two lines of original accessories made from materials including Ryukyu glass and dried coral. The cafe, Shima Cafe Tonkaraya, offers lunches featuring local ingredients such as Miyako beef and Miyako pork, smoothies made with lots of local fruit, and more.

    "This shop is located a short northeast of the Kinsukyaga cave spring on the south side of Miyakojima Island. The shop's signature product is its Miyako Uzumaki Soba, colorful dried noodles which are sold in round balls and wrapped in packages by color. Despite their vivid colors, these choice noodles do not use of any artificial colorings and are made by combining natural ingredients from Miyakojima Island and other areas in Japan with domestically produced wheat flour. Locals call them ""gurguru-men"" (""twirly noodles""). The noodles can also be purchased over the Internet, but those sold in this shop are available at straight-from-the-factory prices and the shop's selection includes exclusive products. The shop also sells honey and other products. In addition, on weekends, the shop operates a restaurant which serves shaved ice and lunch meals made with Miyako Uzumaki Soba noodles."

They will even make one-of-a-kind accessory for you with the shells, coral, and other items you find on the beach. The shop also offers made-to-order services. You can even have your name engraved on a shark's tooth. Other products include their Flower Shisa figurines, which are made with polymer clay.
