    This war memorial is located on an elevated spot across the road from Ie Village Junior High School about a two-minute drive or about a 16-minute walk from Ie Port. Ie Island was the site of some of the most intense fighting of the Battle of Okinawa. The tower enshrines some 3,500 souls lost in the fighting on the island including around 1,500 islanders and around 2,000 officers and men of the island's garrison. The tower bears a poem by the local poet Nakamoto Roson. The stone memorials next to the tower bear the names of those who died during the battle including those outside of Ie Village. A peace prayer service is held here every April 21ST, the anniversary of the end of hostilities on the island.

    These building ruins are located north along the road from the Ie Village Office. An estimated 3,500 people including around 1,500 islanders and around 2,000 officers and men of the island's garrison died on Ie Island during the Battle of Okinawa near the end of World War II. In addition to heavy human casualties, nearly all of the buildings on the island were burnt to the ground during the fighting. The lone building to avoid this fate was this village-operated pawnshop built with government financing in 1929. The building still retains a large hole in the wall as well as countless bullet holes, conveying the tragedy that was the Battle of Okinawa.

    This row of pine trees is located along National Route 505 in Nakijin Village, Okinawa Prefecture. The approximately 30-meter-wide row of pine trees continues for about 250 meters to the gate of Nakijin Elementary School. It was once a horseriding ground that frequently served as a venue for regional folk events, horse races, and other functions in the pre-war era. The Luchu pines are said to have been planted by the 18th-century statesman Sai On. Although there were once horse-riding grounds all over Okinawa, most of them have been developed into farm land or residential areas, making this one a valuable example of a place that still looks as it did centuries ago.

    "This food truck on Okinawa Prefecture's Kouri Island serves original garlic shrimp menus modeled after the shrimp trucks of North Shore on Hawaii's Oahu Island. Each of their four different shrimp plates comes with rice. Customers can also add portion of grilled Onaha beef, a brand-name beef of Okinawa. Another popular offering is their shiri shiri (Okinawan for ""finely cut"") french fries. Customers can order items to go and even enjoy them on the beach."

    This expansive mandarin orange producing region is located in Izumi District on northern Okinawa Island. The region, which is suited to growing citrus due to the large temperature difference between day and night, has many mandarin orange farms. The Mikan no Sato Information Center, which is open from October to February each year, provides visitors with information about local farms that offer mandarin orange picking. Visitors can also try picking citrus fruits characteristic of Okinawa such as shikuwasa, citrus tankan, and kabuchi. The information center's attached parlor sells desserts such as zenzai (sweet bean soup) with brown sugar in it and sata andagi (Okinawan donuts) with citrus tankan in them.

    This cafe is located in Motobu Town, Okinawa Prefecture. The cafe, which features a liberatingly open design, is surrounded by a forest. Its interior is furnished with furniture hand-crafted by the owner, who happens to be a potter who makes shisa figures. Offerings include their Shiki no Aya set meals, which feature a number of Okinawan dishes including nankotsu soki (pork short rib with cartilidge) simmered for four hours as well as sweets such as their sponge cake combos and zenzai (sweet bean soup). Their homemade mandarin orange juice is made exclusively with freshly-harvested mandarin oranges. Guests can enjoy a view of the bougainvilleas and other flowers as well as of Mt. Yae from the cafe's terrace seats.

They offer meat-based meals such as yakiniku, shabu-shabu, hamburg steaks, and steaks using Aguu pork and wagyu beef and vegetables raised on their company farm in the city, as well as Okinawa soba, goat soup, and other Okinawan cuisine. For lunch, you can try out any of various set meals like chanpuru, or don (rice bowl) meals, or a yakiniku lunch.

    コーヒー好きなのと、OPツアーがあったので(コーヒー豆付き&コーヒー付きだった)行ってきました。コーヒー苗も販売しており、勿論コーヒー豆も販売。グッズもたくさんあります。少し園内を散策させて頂き、コーヒーを堪能してきました。場所的にレンタカーが無いと無理です。 お店の方々も親切で良かったです。
