- Higashi Shokudo located in a residential district in Nago City, Okinawa Prefecture is an old-fashioned restaurant with an exotic Okinawan atmosphere. You can enjoy Okinawan cuisine such as Okinawan soba noodles, goya chanpuru (stir-fried bitter gourd) and tebichi (pig’s feet), Okinawan red bean soup and about 20 types of shaved ice. Okinawan red bean soup using plump sweetened kidney beans stewed slowly for a long time and the delicate and melt-in-the-mouth ice are superb.

基本的には寿司屋というか海鮮料理なんだが，沖縄料理なら一通り揃う店だ。そして泡盛がうまい，こっちの好みを聞いて，色んなのを飲んだ。従って当然のことながら酔っ払うのである。だから料理の味は最後の方は怪しくなってきたけど，美味しかったことは確か。
