    Ikei Island is a remote island accessible via a marine road extending from the eastern part of Okinawa’s main island. This beach is in the southern part of the island, where you can enjoy gazing at the serene cobalt blue sea, as well as partake in marine sports such as diving, snorkeling, and sea kayaking, not to mention barbeques and other activities.

Overall, Araha Beach is a great place to enjoy the Okinawan seaside.

    This beach is located in Chatan Town, in the central part of Okinawa Island. It is adjacent to Mihama American Village, a leisure facility with a ferris wheel, movie theatre, and interesting shops and restaurants. As Sunset Beach is an artificial beach, the waves are not too high, making it a popular place to visit for families with children and local young people. There is a beachside barbecue area, making Sunset Beach a fun place to hold a beach party.

Facilities include a multipurpose athletic field, a barbeque pavilion, a park golf course, and other more. Use of the barbeque pavilion is by reservation only and guests must use the food that is provided by the park.
