- Okinawa Pref. Nahashi Omoromachi 4-4-9
- This general shopping center is located in Naha City. Food, clothing, home appliances, household articles, and everything else you could need are available here. There’s also a movie theater, game center, and various other forms of entertainment. You can relax and have a meal in the restaurants and cafes, and there’s room for the whole family. The closest station is Omoromachi Station on the Okinawa Monorail (Yui Rail).

I visited Okinawa for the first time and wanted to get some snacks. I was told San-A in Main Place is the biggest one. I ended up getting about 20 different kinds of candies. Then I also saw certain...

- Okinawa Pref. Nahashi Omoromachi 4-1
- T Galleria is a duty-free shopping complex located in Naha City’s new downtown area, accessible from Omoromachi Station on the Okinawa Urban Monorail (Yuirail) line. It is the only place in Japan where visitors can enjoy duty-free shopping without needing to show their passports. T Galleria’s target customers are people who will be traveling from Naha Airport on domestic flights to other parts of Japan, and people with tickets for international flights. Duty-free goods can be purchased up to two hours before departure, and then collected at the Duty Free Shopping (DFS) counter in Naha Airport. Besides popular fashion and cosmetics brands, T Galleria also sells Okinawa souvenirs such as Awamori liquor and Chinsuko biscuits.

- Okinawa Pref. Nahashi Maejima 3-chome 25-1
- This passenger terminal building complex is where ships stop that connect to the remote islands of Tokashiki, Zamami, Aguni, Tonaki, Kume, Minami-Daito and Kita-Daito. In addition to being able to purchase tickets to board a boat, it is a convenient location that has Okinawa restaurants, a café, convenience store, rental car agency and ATMs. There is also a hotel located in the building.

- Okinawa Pref. Nahashi Makishi 3-2-103F/4F
- This is a place where you can enjoy traditional Ryukyu culture such as Ryukyu dance and traditional craft experiences. It is popular due to its convenient location right in the middle of Kokusai-dori Street. The Naha City Tourist Information Center and shopping area on the first floor make it a reassuring place.

Okinawa Areas
Let go of your image of a busy, ordered Japan and replace it with crystal-clear waters, white sand beaches, and relaxing folk music: You’ve arrived in Okinawa. A world away from the high intensity of Tokyo, Okinawans appear to live a laid-back beach life on this paradisiacal tropical island that lies in the middle of the East China Sea almost 1,000 kilometers south of mainland Japan’s most southern tip. Home to a spattering of islands, prepare yourself to discover underwater caves, star-shaped sand, and an island culture sometimes unrecognizable from mainland Japan.
