Cafe Haconiwa is located on a road that runs off Prefectural Highway 84 in the Izumi neighborhood of Motobu, Kunigami District. The café occupies a refurbished traditional house (built over 50 years ago), with attractive antique furniture. Dishes that make extensive use of Okinawa-grown vegetables are served on Yachimun ceramic tableware. Despite its location in the middle of a wood, Cafe Haconiwa is very popular.

古民家でゆったりした時間を過ごせました。ランチもヘルシーメニューで沖縄感あります。縁側が良い感じでした。

Shima Donuts is a specialist donut shop on Prefectural Highway 71 in Isagawa, Nago City. The donuts sold here are made mainly from local ingredients, including bean curd (a by-product produced during the manufacturing of Okinawan-style tofu), soybean milk, brown sugar, etc., and the donuts are baked rather than fried. It sells processed products from the fruit it grows, mainly passion fruit and also owns a café. On a terrace, you can overlook Kabira Bay while relaxing with a juice or other refreshments.

Horikawa is an Okinawan soba noodle shop, opposite Shuri Castle Park and near Josei Elementary School and Ryutan Pond in Shurimawashi Town. Their Okinawan soba noodles have a clear soup mixed with homemade noodles which are boiled after an order is received. The decoration with condiments such as spring onion and ginger on a porcelain spoon is impressive.

首里城近くの路地裏にある隠れ家的雰囲気のお店。開店と同時に入店しました。お店の入口で靴を脱ぐのが面白いと思ったのですが、後になってそういうお店が沖縄には多いのに気づきました。私は、『ソーキそばのBセット』を注文。沖縄そばとしては、かなり優しい味わい。人によっては、物足りなく感じるかもしれない。でも、お店の雰囲気も含めて再訪したいと思えるお店でした。

Shokudo India is a specialty Indian curry restaurant located on Sakurazakanaka-dori Street, which is next to Kokusai-dori Street (International Street). The curries are prepared from a combination of 20 spices and range over 25 dishes including chicken, mutton and seafood. The naan is home baked with charcoal in the oven. In the evening, you can have a drink with a reasonably priced nomihodai (all you can drink) and snack on Indian dishes such as Tandoori chicken.

那覇市内でカレーを食べれるお店を検索していて見つけたお店。那覇の中では、老舗的存在のようです。夜の時間帯でしたが、待たずに入店出来ました。私は、『Aセット』を注文。2種類のカレーにサモサやタンドリーチキン、デザートも付いてくる豪華な内容だったので、お腹いっぱいになりました。
