    The Naha City Traditional Arts and Crafts Center is located on the second floor of the Tenbusu Naha Building on Kokusai Street, around four minutes’ walk from Makishi Station on the Okinawa Urban Monorail (Yuirail) line. The Center boasts an impressive selection of works by Living National Treasures and examples of Naha’s traditional handicrafts. Monitors display video footage which shows the creation processes for different items in an easy-to-understand way. Visitors can also try their hand at five traditional crafts—Ryukyuan glass-blowing, Ryukyuan Bingata dyed cloth-making, Shuri cloth-making, Tsuboya-ware making, and Ryukyuan lacquerware-making. Visitors can also purchase works by leading Ryukyuan handicraft designers.

    "Hizuki is a gallery in Tokeshi, Yomitan Village, Nakagami County. It displays and sells glass items made in the studio of glass artist Oyabu Miyo. The concept behind these works is ""vessels and things with beautiful shapes,"" and the shop displays tableware and other small items made of glass."

    読谷村にあるガラス作家さんの工房兼ショップで、独特な世界観のガラス製品を作っています。沖縄県内のセレクトショップでも見かけることがあります。場所は要注意です。畑の中の、舗装されていない道路を通り、少しわかりにくい場所にあります。

    This boutique is located in a corner of the foreigner district of Ishikawa, Uruma City, and it does a great job showcasing the appeal of its hometown of Uruma. The shop name comes from the Spanish word “paraiso,” which means “paradise.” It offers a wide selection of goods crafted by local artisans, including “yachimun” pottery, Ryukyu glass, crafts made from seashells, dyed goods, and various other items.
