石垣ダムから徒歩１５分くらいで行けるはずだったのですが、入り口を見過ごしてしまって８７号線まで行ってしまい戻る羽目になり、結局40分くらいかかってしました。間違えようのない単純なルートなのですが情けない話でした。観光農園と書いてありましたが、自家農園を開放しているような感じで、素朴な雰囲気が良かったです。

This outdoor specialty shop is where you can experience whale watching, boat diving and boat snorkeling. Whale watching tours, which are held off the coast of Iejima Island, a little-known whale watching spot, depart from the main port near Churaumi Aquarium. They are highly popular since one can easily go to the aquarium after returning to port. Although they have many different plans available, be sure to check in advance because some are only offered for a limited time.

Many people visit Mibaru Beach to enjoy watersports. This national park situated in the northern part of Okinawa Island is the 33rd national park in Japan. The park contains one of the largest subtropical evergreen forests in the country and the largest mangrove forests on the Okinawan mainland. The park is home to many unique species such as the Okinawan rail bird, the Ryukyu long-tailed giant rat and the Yambaru long-armed scarab beetle. Wildlife conservation awareness campaigns and exhibits on Yambaru’s culture and history are held at Ufugi Nature Hall in the Yambaru Wildlife Conservation Center located in the region.
