    An alkaline simple spring bathhouse located a five-minute drive from Tarumizu Port. All of the baths are constantly supplied “kakenagashi” style from the source spring. Facilities include an outdoor bath, a yuzu citrus bath, a Goemon bath, and a skin beautifying “treasure” bath (women’s area only). Visitors can enjoy hot spring bathing along with an up-close view of smoking Sakurajima. The bathhouse also operates as a hotel and guests can make use of the bathing facilities for free. The bathhouse restaurant offers a wide selection of all-you-can-eat-and-drink plans. All of the restaurant’s dishes are cooked with natural alkaline hot spring water and diners can select among courses such as a shabu-shabu course made with Kagoshima’s famous Berkshire pork.

    A hot spring bathhouse and hotel where visitors can stay the night, go for a day trip, and enjoy banquet plans located in Nejime, Minamiosumi Town. The bathhouse’ unusual vitality restoring (minus ion) water bath is said to beautify the skin. The other baths are constantly replenished “kakenagashi” style from a sodium - chloride strong saline spring whose waters well up from 1,203 meters underground. Popular with women due to their skin beautifying properties, in winter, these waters warm the body to the core. The bathhouse is also replete with an outdoor bath, jacuzzi, and far infrared sauna. The adjoining restaurant serves a variety of dishes made with local Kagoshima brand ingredients.

    "A hot spring bathhouse located along the Yokoichigawa River, south of Mochio Park in Soo City. The water used is a sodium hydrogen carbonate spring that bubbles up from 1,702 meters underground. Since it leaves the bather's skin smooth and soft, and it is known as ""beauty water."" The facility offers various kinds of options, including ordinary baths, saunas, and whirlpool baths. After bathing, visitors can enjoy local cuisine in the facility's restaurant or relax free of charge in the lounge. The facility's shop sells locally grown vegetables. The workout room contains machines that loosen up the body, such as massage machines and devices that one's body can hang from. This facility can be used as a place to shake off everyday tiredness and encourage interactions with the local people."

    ここの温泉は、濃厚でぬるぬるします。温泉成分が皮膚や角質を溶かしていると思われ、効果絶大です。 入り口にぶっさんはんばいもあり、お風呂上がりに地元の物産も購入できます。 朝早い方が空いていていいかも。

    A hot spring bathhouse located along Prefectural Route 503 along the Oyodogawa River. The baths are fed by a single-element alkaline spring that bubbles up from 1,600 meters underground. Bathers can expect relief from nerve pain and muscle soreness. In addition to the main baths, visitors can enjoy the natural hot water in a variety of ways, including jet baths, electric baths and cascade baths. There are even two varieties of saunas, an infrared sauna and a steam sauna, both of which are suitable for curing everyday exhaustion. In addition to bathing facilities, a restaurant and lodging are available, so the facility is suitable as a base for sightseeing in the region. A further attraction is the onsite shop, which has a wide selection of local products, making it a perfect place to look for souvenirs of Kagoshima.

    垂水市の海沿いにある共同浴場。駐車場はありますが、温泉近くの道はかなり狭いです。民家の奥に温泉があります。こられているのは、ほとんど顔みしりの方のよう。アルカリ性の硫黄泉がかけ流しされています。浴槽は2つに区切られていて、タイルばりでとても風情があります。JR九州の八十八湯めぐりの対象施設です。

    えっがね御膳はおいしかったです。生まれて初めて伊勢海老の刺身を食べましたがプりぷりしていて最高でした。 建物は古くて絨毯なんかも黄ばんでいます。布団は西川のいいのを使っていました。 伊勢海老の時期にはまた来たいですね。禁煙部屋をもっとふやしてほしいです。その辺は禁煙後進国の鹿児島県です。値段からすれば満点まではいかないですね。

    おんせん県鹿児島らしくたった390円で温泉を楽しめます。打たせ湯、電気風呂、深い風呂、露天風呂、水風呂にサウナと楽しめてこの値段。 泉質はあまり説明がなかったと思いますが、トロトロになりました。

Over 100 active volcanoes across Kagoshima make it one of the Japan's most exciting prefectures. The prefectural capital, Kagoshima city, looks out to one of the prefecture’s most spectacular volcanoes, Sakurajima, an island of its own that can be visited and seen close up or admired from afar, with the promise of breathtaking sunsets complete with frequent puffs of smoke and ash.
