The other baths are constantly replenished “kakenagashi” style from a sodium - chloride strong saline spring whose waters well up from 1,203 meters underground. Popular with women due to their skin beautifying properties, in winter, these waters warm the body to the core. The bathhouse is also replete with an outdoor bath, jacuzzi, and far infrared sauna. The bathhouse is constantly supplied “kakenagashi” style by a sodium - hydrogen carbonate spring whose waters are said to beautify the skin. Customers can bath enwrapped in the fain fragrance of hinoki cypress in the large communal bath. The open and airy outdoor bath is surrounded by rock and lush greenery. The bathhouse also has 11 distinctive private reservable baths, each of which is equipped with toilets, a washroom, and lounge. Customers can have these individual, elegantly designed baths all to themselves. Body soap, shampoo, conditioner, and hair dryers are also provided. In addition to day trip hot spring bathing, the bathhouse also has hotel rooms. The guest rooms have their own outdoor baths. The bathhouse's large indoor bath for men is on the mountain side of the facility, while the large indoor bath for women is on the ocean side; the bathhouse also has a whirlpool bath, jet bath, and cold water bath, as well as a mist sauna for women.

The hydrogen carbonate ion hot springs are said to have skin beautifying properties. The bathhouse features two simple indoor baths specially designed to replace all of the water in each of the two large bathtubs every two hours. The bathtubs are also completely sterilized once per week, assuring bathers can always enjoy a hygienic hot spring experience.

沖縄に移住する際に入らせて頂きました‼️ 車椅子でも入り口近くまで行けて、温泉の温度も丁度良かったです‼️ 泉質にも拘っているみたいで暫く体がポカポカして良かったです‼️

The bathhouse is constantly supplied “kakenagashi” style from an alkaline simple sulfur spring. There are two indoor bathing areas, the wooden Mokumoku area and the airy Sora area. Which is the men’s and which the women’s alternates on a weekly basis, and visitors can enjoy both by timing their visits right. The bathhouse also has a sauna and provides shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and hair dryers. From the greenery-enshrouded lounge, visitors can get a sweeping view of Mt. There are even medicinal baths made with seasonal ingredients such as yuzu citrus. The bathhouse also features steam and infrared saunas as well as a banquet hall that can be reserved as a lounge to relax after a bath.

"This public bathhouse is located in Hinatayama Onsen, a hot spring district which has been used by locals practically in place of the baths in their own homes since ancient times, a five-minute walk from Hinatayama Station on the JR Hisatsu Line. Opened in 1825, the bathhouse is supplied by a natural hot spring which is the oldest in the area and which is called the ""Motoyu"" (""original spring"") by locals. The bathhouse was a favorite destination for famous samurai and Meiji restoration leader Saigo Takamori when he stayed at a friend's home in the area, and as such the bathhouse is also nicknamed the ""Saigo-yu"" (""Saigo's bathhouse""). The bathhouse' indoor bathing area has two baths with different temperatures. The baths are supplied with water from a sodium hydrocarbonate spring/chloride spring."
