- This local products center is situated along National Route 327. The center sells local specialty products such as roasted rice cakes, Tsurutomi miso, and yuzu citrus chili paste. The center's adjoining restaurant serves meals made with local ingredients. The restaurant's popular sticky and uniquely chewy handmade soba noodles, limited to just 20 customers a day, are crafted with buckwheat flour from Shiba which is only produced in exceedingly small amounts and not normally sold in stores. The restaurant's fried rice is made with harlequin glorybower leaves, which release a fragrant scent when rubbed and which have a distinctive, addicting flavor similar to Japanese giant red mustard.

延岡に宿泊し、そのまま宮崎市方面へ向かう時、椎葉村を観光して、ここに立ち寄りました。土産物やお菓子、飲み物など画売ってあり、食事処では定食などが出されていて、ドライブの休憩に使えます。休日だったので賑わっていました。

- This winery is located about 60 meters above sea level in Gokase Town, Nishiusuki County, Miyazaki Prefecture. “Gokase wine”, made from 100% local grapes, is popular for its fresh flavors. The winery, located in a vast area where you can experience the nature of Aso, also offers a buffet-style restaurant based mainly on the idea of local production for local consumption. Various events such as the winery harvest festival are also held here.
